Cycle the Turia garden, the old riverbed that is now a park, all the way to the City of Arts if you have the legs. Then go to the sea at Malvarrosa and linger until the sky goes orange. Deseo 54 is the queer club everyone ends up in, loud and late and friendlier than it looks.
Fallas in March fills the streets with fireworks and cardboard giants, then burns them. The rest of the year, a horchata in the shade is a respectable plan.
