Stay and hang with queers in Paris

The Canal Saint-Martin is where Paris goes to sit on the kerb with wine and a baguette, and the queer crowd has claimed whole stretches of it. Spend an afternoon in Buttes-Chaumont, then climb to the Temple de la Sibylle for the view. After dark, Les Souffleuses on rue de la Verrerie does drag and dancing on two floors, and Elles bar is the easy first drink if you want somewhere smaller.

On 21 June the whole city plays music in the street for the Fête de la Musique. Any other night, sitting on the canal until someone suggests a second bottle is the plan.
