Stay and hang with queers in Munich

The Glockenbachviertel still holds Munich's queer street life, with Müllerstraße for a slow coffee and people to wave at. Spend the day in the Englischer Garten, and if you are brave, watch the surfers on the Eisbach. Climb the Monopteros hill as the park goes gold. In the evening, LeZ on Müllerstraße opens its bar, a lesbian and queer centre that feels more like a living room than a night out.

When the weather holds, the beer gardens stay full until the last tram. In July the Pride parade rolls through, and the rest of the year a swim in the Isar is the whole plan.
