Stay and hang with queers in Madrid

Malasaña keeps Madrid's younger nights, with Plaza del Dos de Mayo for a beer on the pavement and nowhere to rush. Spend the afternoon in El Retiro, in a rowing boat if you can steal one, then walk to the Temple of Debod for sunset. Chueca is a short stroll away, and Fulanita de Tal has been the lesbian night out for twenty years.

Pride in July takes over the whole centre and it is enormous. Any other Sunday, a vermut with new friends in Lavapiés is the whole weekend.
