Stay and hang with queers in Frankfurt

Nordend is the easy part of Frankfurt, where Berger Straße keeps the cafés and the second-hand shops and nobody is in a rush. Walk the Main promenade in the afternoon, or hide in the Palmengarten if the towers get too loud. Linger on the river for sunset, when the water picks up the skyline. Evenings are for a glass of apfelwein in a Sachsenhausen courtyard, then a walk back along the banks when they are lit.

In July the Pride parade crosses the river. Any other weekend, a long walk along the Main with a bag of pretzels will do.
