Stay and hang with queers in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires keeps late hours, and plenty of queer nights begin on the leafy patios at Feliza, a social club in Almagro where one cold beer somehow turns into a table of twelve. By day, walk or cycle the trails of the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur out to the wide, brown river. Watch the sun go down over the docks of Puerto Madero, then head back to Almagro for La Marshall, a queer milonga at Centro Cultural Macedonia where a quick class gets everyone dancing.

Every November, the Marcha del Orgullo fills Avenida de Mayo with music, glitter and friends finding each other in the crowd. On a Sunday afternoon, sharing mate in Parque Centenario with the people from the milonga feels like home.
